Returned to departure airport - called hotel and discovered that shuttle driver was ill and no shuttle available. However, hotel desk clerk instructed us to take a taxi to hotel and they reimbursed for the cost of the taxi - a most fair solution. Overall a minor inconvenience to what what might have been a more serious problem.
